Who should attend?
The event is relevant to those who work with and support people with eating disorders, including:
- Healthcare professionals – psychiatrists, doctors, psychologists, psychotherapists, eating disorder and mental health practitioners, nurses, dietitians, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, service leads, counsellors, or any professional working in eating disorders
- School or university staff - including wellbeing or pastoral staff
- Students - psychology students, doctorate Students, PhD students or healthcare students (including medical and other professions).
- Academics or researchers
- Those responsible for shaping and commissioning eating disorder services.
- Anyone who is caring for someone with an eating disorder - family members, partners, friends or guardians are welcome to attend.
Please note that the programme is designed to appeal both to people working professionally in a field related to eating disorders and to those caring for a loved one with an eating disorder. Due to the programme content and the debates which will ensue, the event content may not be suitable for someone currently suffering and could be significantly triggering for some.
