Neha Ramaiya

Neha Ramaiya is a pharmacist and the Lead Clinical Advisor at the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). She specialises in pharmacy regulation, clinical governance, and patient safety, with a strong interest in how healthcare systems can better support people with complex and sensitive health needs.

Neha began her career in secondary care, focusing on Women’s and Children’s Health and service improvement. She completed the Chief Pharmaceutical Officer’s Clinical Fellowship, gaining experience in health policy, stakeholder engagement, and regulatory leadership.

At the GPhC, Neha played a key role in the organisation’s COVID‑19 response and has led work to strengthen guidance for pharmacies providing services at a distance. She regularly contributes to professional forums on clinical regulation. She is passionate about transforming pharmacy services to meet modern healthcare needs and remains committed to improving standards of care for patients and the public.
