Chair Fiona Duffy – Brief Overview of the National Specification and the aim for today which is to support Scottish Clinicians in thinking about implementation of aspects of the Specification where we need to actively learn from other services.

Session 1: Routine Outcome Measures

The aim of this session is to increase awareness of Routine Outcome Measures that are being recommended and have been collaboratively selected by clinicians, researchers, lived experience and carers to determine whether this data set could be replicated in Scotland

Session 2: Co-production and increasing accessibility of services

The aim of this session is to begin to reflect on the specification requirements of including lived experience and carers in the active development of services and associated feedback of service quality.  The specification also focuses on consideration of health inequalities, who are we not seeing in our current eating disorder services and what can we do to actively reach out to under represented groups to increase access or make our interventions more accessible

Session 3: All Age Services and Self Referrals

Aim of this session: The specification highlights consideration of all age eating disorders services and the implementation of self referrals to reduce barriers to Scottish Eating Disorder services.

Sam was the Lead Clinician for Gloucestershire All Age Service Specialist Eating Disorder Service. He will reflect on the practicalities of this service including the implementation of self-referrals.
