Dr Gemma Peachey is a consultant general adult psychiatrist at the Maudsley Hospital in London. She works in Eating Disorders for both the enhanced treatment team and in outpatients.
Gemma completed an undergraduate degree in Psychology with Physiology at Oxford University. She went on to complete a post-graduate degree in Medicine at the University of Cardiff. She worked in London as a foundation doctor before specialising in psychiatry. She has completed both her core and higher training in psychiatry at the Maudsley and is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists. During her training she also worked as an academic lecturer in psychiatry in the United Arab Emirates. She has also been awarded a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical Education from the University of Cambridge. She has published a number of papers in eating disorders research.
