Ellen Maloney

Ellen is a late-diagnosed autistic adult with a historical diagnosis of SEED. Passionate about re-designing eating disorder treatments and services to better serve autistic people, Ellen has been the patient representative on the SIGN committee writing new treatment guidelines for eating disorders in Scotland, and now co-chairs the implementation of the Scottish National Review of Eating Disorder Services and sits on the Autism Advisory Forum in Scotland. She has written for The Guardian, The Scotsman, various literary journals, and shared her experiences at the European Commission. Passionate about ideas that can change the world, Ellen dedicates her free time to translating TED talks.
