Nicola Stacey is a Diabetes Specialist Nurse at Royal Bournemouth hospital and conducts a range of Diabetes clinics including T1 and T2 Diabetes, insulin pump, antenatal care and T1DE.
Nicola is dedicated to improving patient care and has the drive to make a difference. She has a strong interest in emotional health and how this affects a person manage their Diabetes.
The ComPASSION project (combined pathway for assessment and support for the syndrome of Insulin omission in T1 Diabetes), provided Nicola an important opportunity to put this into practice with a particularly vulnerable group of patients. Nicola is dedicated in raising awareness and understanding of this serious and life threatening issue.
