My name is Theodore Colley (they/he); I am a 29-year-old Lived Experience Ambassador for Beat, who I have been working with for over four years. My struggle with anorexia nervosa began when I was a teenager during the lead up to my GCSEs. I have been recovered from my ED for over three years after previous periods of relapse and recovery.
Now I work full time within a talking therapies service operated by the NHS and am passionate about not only delivering inclusive care in my own sphere, but in working with other practitioners, so that they can too improve on their practice to help people feel more comfortable during what can be such traumatic times.
