Dr Marie Spreckley

Dr Marie Spreckley is a postdoctoral researcher and registered nutritionist specialising in obesity and weight management. She works at the MRC Epidemiology Unit at the University of Cambridge, where she leads and collaborates on research examining behavioural, nutritional, and lived experience aspects of incretin-based therapies such as semaglutide and tirzepatide. Her work focuses on understanding how these medications affect appetite, eating behaviour, wellbeing, and support needs, and how clinical care models can be improved to support people using these treatments.
